Short presentation for long-term relationship with NCUB

On Jan 7 2009, the NCUB Leaders accepted NHEC delegation in Mahn Shar hall. U Myint Thein Joint secretary of NCUB and other top leaders ,welcomed the delegation led by Aye Saung, vice chairperson of NHEC. In this short presentation section, Aye Saung presented geranial information about current situation of NHEC and discussed some policy issues of NCUB regarding to the NHEC. U Nyo Min director of Capacity Building Program of NHEC presented details of NHEC activities and in three main parts, financial situation, working group formation, and future plan .

Due to the reduced financial from the current donors, the NHEC intends to seek new funders and donors. For the human resource, NHEC requested NCUB and its member to strengthen the need of NHEC. Then, the NHEC introduced its strategic change 'from Developing Common policies and strategies in health and education and implementing to contributing to a peaceful transition and the development of sustainable democratic governance and civil society in the union of Burma'.
