NHEC decides to implement health and education activities using rights-based approach

The eighth quarterly committee meeting of the current committee’s term was held at the NHEC-HQ, Chiang Mai on February 9, 10, and 11 2009. There were 20 participants from NHEC member organizations, affiliated organizations, and executive board members. 16 out of 20 participants were NHEC committee members, including one committee member from NHEC-WR.

Vice chairperson U Aye Saung chaired the meeting and Secretary Saya Nai and Joint secretary Salai Yaw Aung performed as Master of Ceremonies. The meeting records and minutes were taken by Administrator, U Yee Htun. In this meeting, the committee discussed various matters, and decided that the Executive Board should continue its activities stated in the NHEC constitution, seek more funders, and implement health and education activities with rights-based approaches.
